About me

Having a good knowledge of the Périgord Noir for having been a guide accompanying countries and with experience in real estate between 1997 and 2011 in Périgord Noir, today, it is with the Private Properties Group to which I belong that I propose to facilitate the realization of your real estate project: sale, purchase, rental, estimation, financing. My area: Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin De Reilhac and its surrounding villages, where I live. I chose this place of life for its many assets that can seduce you as well. ROUFFIGNAC is the first village just 26 km south of perIGUEUX prefecture, and 25 km from SARLAT, further south. The Eyzies with its station and capital of prehistory, Montignac, site of LASCAUX IV and Le Bugue are just 15 to 20 minutes, by car. Encompassed within the perimeter of the Community of Communes of the Valley of Man which has been awarded the label of "Grand Site of France", this village is located high, at 300 m altitude, offering distant views of the steep hills and valleys. The climate is mild. ROUFFIGNAC is easily accessible with access to the motorways 20 minutes to Brives or Bordeaux. There are about 1600 inhabitants and 3000 with the surrounding villages. The town's shops cover all the needs, notably in terms of mouth trade and delicatessen with products from local or organic producers. A beautiful Sunday market animates the village with merchants remarkable for the quality of their products and the loyalty of their presence. A supermarket complements the local offer. The services are also present: Post office, Insurance, Urbanism, Computer Science. Health services and professionals: rural medical home with dentist, gynaecologist, general practitioners, pharmacy; home care and on-go social services. Fire Rescue Station. A kindergarten and primary school group, a vast sports complex and a rich associative life complete Rouffignac's life.A craft area has also developed. Rouffignac also enjoys the tourist boom thanks to the cave of 100 mammoths, its listed church, its center Occitan traditions and other curiosities. Two film screenings per month with the latest releases and other cultural meetings are organized. The development of Rouffignac's assets was recognized in 2015 by the award of a Michelin star. The village has an atypical profile: Its listed church imposes some urban planning rules around 500 m. As the village was rebuilt after the war the style of the houses is unified in the center of the village, with exposed and varied stone facades all around. The commune extends widely with an airy or even dispersed habitat. Rouffignac attracts mostly retirees in couples or singles, seduced by services and quality of life.
