FARMHOUSE
The farmhouse is located 22 km from Palermo in the territory of Santa Cristina Gela, it has been carrying out the agritourism activity for more than 15 years, addressing a national and international audience.
The company is registered in the appropriate provincial list of educational farms. It has a total area of more than 7 hectares, of which 5 hectares are productive, where you can find both tree crops (olive grove-orchard) and vegetable crops, in the open field, medicinal herbs, fodder for the animals raised on the farm.
The farm adopts organic cultivation methods that respect the environment through suitable cultural rotations in order to avoid the use of chemicals. The choice to produce with organic methods was made in the full conviction that respect for the environment, the health of the consumer and the producer are fundamental concepts on which to base and give a future not only to agriculture but to the entire ecosystem.
The animals bred on the farm are: horses, ponies, chickens, geese, turkeys, rabbits, goats, black pigs of the Nebrodi, cattle, dogs and cats.
The structure has areas suitable for school groups, parking for cars and buses, large spaces equipped for games with slides and swings, large riding school with sand field, catering facilities and toilets also accessible to the disabled, covered outdoor area where it is possible to carry out educational workshops etc.
The structure has been recently renovated, paying attention to safety and energy saving, in order to always be in step with the times, in full compliance with current regulations.
