This is a plum originating in France, and is a commercial staple vital to the region. Oval-shaped, large fruit, with thin violet skin. Yellow-green meat, very sweet. Excellent taste, ideal for making jams and for eating raw. It is one of the most used varieties to make dry prunes. It is collected at the end of February until the beginning of March.
1 1/2 hectares of Giffard Pear are under anti-hail netting. Giffard is an old french pear. Medium, light green pear. Turns pale yellow with pink blush as it ripens. Crisp, tender, juicy flesh with delicious, refreshing flavor.
There is 1/2 hectare of fallow land, worked and ready for planting whatever you'd like to plant!
